The action kicks off on Thursday morning

Japan Open 2014 kicks off on Thursday morning with the most competitive field of players in the tournament history. A total of 144 players from 13 countries have arrived to Nasu Shiobara to compete for the prestigious Japan Open championship titles in MPO & FPO divisions. In addition to the two main divisions a number of players will be competing on age-protected divisions. Read more about Japan Open divisions here.

The Japan Open Staff will be doing live updates from the course & clubhouse on all tournament days. You can follow these updates on the event's Instagram account, as well as on Twitter. The players, families and staff members on site are advised to use the official tournament hashtag #JapanOpenDG on their updates social media sites, so our online viewers can get the big picture on what's going on at the event.
